“In a suburban parking lot, we find the Mid-American Shopping Cart. At home grazing under the flickering florescent sunshine of shopping savannahs, these pack animals enjoy rolling in the breeze after abandonment by self-centered shoppers.
Recent rains have flooded the concrete flatlands, supporting a bloom of plastic Man-o-War. A gaggle of carts is hunting for the bags–
What’s this? One has been left behind! It appears the solitary specimen is injured. Alas, an endemic malady, wheel malfunctions can cause ear-piercing squeaks and decreased mobility, impairing the cart’s ability to hunt. Only time will tell if the abandonment will prove fatal…”
